Have you practiced feeling for what you want? It’s a powerful way to build positive momentum. In fact, it’s an important Law of Attraction basic principle to spend time “feeling forward” for what we want. Esther Hicks talks about how doing so will inspire, “the next logical step with perfect timing.”
Fit in a couple minutes of Law of Attraction games and momentum building exercises on a daily basis. You can find some great ideas in the book Ask and It’s Given by Esther Hicks.
Make up your own exercises too! Nothing too complicated just simple stuff to get the wheels turning. Things like:
• List ways you love to feel. Make it a daily doodle.
• What do you want in life? List it all as fast as you can. Maintain an ongoing list that you say or write out daily.
• Play the “Wouldn’t it be nice if…” game that Esther suggests. Just say out loud all those things that you think would be nice.

Those who write their goals down are more likely to reach them. For me, writing down the main ones in a few categories on an annual basis is a good way to go. I use the time around my birthday each year to inventory goals achieved and set goals for the next year. I pick the most important ones to me and break them down into smaller steps to be accomplished each month or quarter along the way to my next birthday. I learned this technique by reading Maximum Achievement: Strategies and Skills That Will Unlock Your Hidden Powers to Succeed by Brian Tracy.
Goal setting is a very personal thing, though. We all have to take the time to learn what works best for us and stick to that. If a technique sounds good to you, try it for a month or so. Check your motivation and results at the end of the month to determine if that system is a keeper for you. Finding what works best is simply a trial and error exercise. Most importantly, keep trying.
When there is a goal you do not reach in by the deadline, it is time to reassess whether it’s still relevant to keep it on the list for the next year. If it is, no harm done, you just estimated wrong about when you could get it accomplished. So put it on the list again and spend time feeling what it will be like to reach that goal. Then try again. If it is no longer relevant to you, then let it go without worrying about it any further. Turns out it was just not important enough in the grander scheme of things.
Living in the moment and being fully present is also a critical idea to remember when goal setting. It can be easy to be distracted with anticipating a future goal or accomplishment that you must achieve before you can move on or allow happiness in your life. But, there is no need to be unhappy seeking a time in the future when all is will be accomplished. Even though it is important to outline goals and work towards accomplishments, it is also imperative to learn to enjoy the process.
What have you been thinking about? Your emotions can hint at what you are focusing on when you notice them. How have you been feeling? Are you thinking thoughts that help you feel your vitality and personal power? Are your thoughts helping you create what you want in life or are they holding you back from what you really want? You can control your focus and attitude. You can have more of what you want.
We all have habitual ways of being. Does your way of being serve you well? If not, or if you want to bump your life up a notch, you can change the way you are thinking and see new results. It’s not easy, but it’s worth the effort if you want more of what you want. And, yes, you can have more of what you want.
Creating more of what you want in life is about decoding the messages within your emotions, focusing your mind, trusting your intuition, and taking inspired action. Are you thinking thoughts that help you feel your vitality and personal power? Your emotions can clue you in to what you are thinking about. You can control your focus and attitude by checking in on how you feel.
What does it feel like when life is only getting better? Make it a priority to feel your own vibration soar for at least a few seconds each day. Allow the high vibe, make a space for it. Do so and you will find your day flowing like never before.
Enhancing your life and achieving your desires begins with a feeling. The feeling that you have when you get what you want. Will you feel healthy, wealthy, connected, sexy, happy, relaxed? What is it? Feel it now, don’t wait. Does your body tingle with anticipation? Open up to the energy. Do you feel a tickle behind your ears, butterflies in your stomach? Breathe it in, feel good now and often.
Imagine enjoying life just as you like it. Dream it. Feel it. Remember to enjoy. Learn to let that good-feeling positive vibe inspire you forward to the next action step with perfect timing.

I notice those people who walk around being themselves with no concern of what others think. I find them so brave! When you start noticing those people fearlessly being themselves, it becomes so easy to contrast them with those who constantly hold themselves back for whatever reason. I can relate with those people who hold themselves back. I’ve been there and it was literally life-changing to really grasp what it is I have control over. Hint: It’s not what other people think! Stepping into your full personal power starts with something you may not have considered before too. Hint: It rhymes with unconditional lelf-sove. We are talking about one of the most powerful ways we can be of service in the world.
Do you know the first step in building a satisfying career? You have to believe it’s possible and that you can tap into that kind of abundance. Through the work you do every day, you demonstrate what you are willing to focus on. Finding work to focus on that meshes superbly with your natural gifts and what you are deeply interested in maximizes your personal power, creativity, and freedom…and feels extremely satisfying. When you are satisfied with your work, it fuels your health and your relationships and juices the rest of your life.
Does that sound worth it? It sure does to me! Start to notice all the people who enjoy what they do for a living. It’s is a whole other level to observe. At first it may be very easy to notice all those who are dreading and complaining about their work. Just assume they are doing the best they can and that they don’t mean to hamper you. Then move your attention elsewhere. Careful that you are not being rude, just move your attention gently towards noticing something more positive. If you can do that, you are not only helping yourself, you are helping them in an indirect way. It goes a little against the grain and may not feel like a nice thing to do at first. By not encouraging them to continue their old story, they might find the room to create a new one. You certainly will be creating a new, more positive story about your work.
Stevie talks about emotions as indicators and how regularly taking your emotional temperature will tell you what you need to do to feel good. Being careful to control your own headspace and kick out those thoughts that will not serve you well in the long run, those negative thoughts that make you feel bad and bring you down, is one of the most powerful things you can be doing with your time and attention. Doing so will set you up for a higher level baseline habitual way of being. And the best part is there is always a higher level. There is always a way to feel better.
